    Janet and I got back to our apartment here in Denver just in time to see and hear Neil Armstrong as he stepped onto the surface of the moon.

    Earlier that summer we had gone on a trip to Europe, a graduation gift from my parents. It almost ended our marrage at 2 years, which as it turned out might have been for the best.
