My last post here, one post back, was about my big idea with the Colorado Caucus. It produced no comments. There were readers, or at least visitors to the page. But no comments. Maybe everyone was just bowled over, awe struck with the brilliance of my simple idea.

Are you a recusant? I think I am for now. You?

Recusant is an adjective that means refusing to comply or submit. For example, "The recusants ignored my instructions to get in line after recess". It can also be used as a noun to describe the state of being recusant, or an obstinate refusal or opposition. Recusant can also refer to: A person who refuses to obey or accept established authority An English Roman Catholic from around 1570 to 1791 who refused to attend services of the Church of England A fast-growing eco-friendly natural bags manufacturing and exporting company in Kolkata The word "recusant" comes from the Latin word recūsant, which means "to object" or "to demur".

YOLO

"YOLO" is an acronym that stands for "You Only Live Once." It's a popular phrase used to emphasize the importance of living life to the fullest, taking risks, and seizing opportunities because life is short and finite. The term gained widespread popularity in popular culture, particularly among younger generations, and is often associated with a carefree or adventurous attitude. However, it's worth noting that while the sentiment behind YOLO encourages seizing opportunities, it's also important to balance spontaneity with responsibility and consideration for consequences.
