Question: Would you be the SBCC Ambassador to your local high school?
ReplyDeleteThe conference you could attend for us is the "National Scholastic Press Association" (NSPA) Convention. NSPA has a long history of hosting conferences and conventions for high school yearbook editors, writers, and photographers. It's one of the leading organizations supporting scholastic journalism in the United States.
As of September 2021, NSPA was still active and conducting annual conventions and events. However, I don't have access to real-time data, and the organization's status or membership numbers may have changed since then.
To find the most current information about NSPA, its membership, and the status of its conventions, I recommend visiting the official NSPA website or contacting the organization directly. They should be able to provide you with the latest details regarding their activities and membership.
If you are open to be our ambassador to your local high school, or to be our subject matter expert for Campus Press publications attend an online Socrates Cafe.
Our SBCC Socrates Cafe Society has online instructional (we hope) Socrates Cafes each Friday, Saturday (tonight? Yes if it’s Saturday), and each 1st Sunday or Tuesday. We invite high school and college students and instructors to “Watch1. Lead1. Start1.” Free, no rsvp required. For more see www.JohnWren.com
