New! Group forming that will use this book to get started.

I had several conversations with Dr. Langs before he passed away, and I've read many of his books.

He wanted to make the benefits of psychotherapy available to the average person for true emotional sobriety.

If you make be interested in a study group that would start with a study of this book for 4 or 5 weeks, please let me know and I'll fill you in on the details. Call if you have any questions.

Why I fight for the grassroots.

Or maybe a better headline would be "DO YOU want to be happy? #2"

I just now announced to start of Wren College. We will focus on the disciplines of adult self-directed learning and business startup.

If you have teaching experience and an understanding of adult self-directed learning, I'd like to talk with you. Wren College?

Requesting a review copy of a new psychology book that looks like it might be a good catalyst for a new self-directed learning group I plan on forming, an idea.

A-ha!

Rather than holding myself out as Small Business Chamber of Commerce, why not form Wren College.

I don't think local chambers ever quite believe me when I say we want to cooperate with them, but they do that all the time with institutions of higher education.

One of my Facebook friends is one of the biggest critics in the country of colleges and universities, they've just become diploma mills, she writes.

I'm going to ask her about the idea, but what do you think?

We'd hold a weekly MOOC for people who want to start a new group, just like I do now. People could form their own group for free, as always, but if they want to be part of the faculty of Wren College, they first have to complete a course of study in adult self-directed learning. Same for students, could continue to be free, unless they want us to issue a certificate of completion documenting what had been learned.

SMALL GROUP IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD MISSION OF NEW EFFORT.

Newly active citizens will launch self-directed learning groups in their own neighborhoods.

Denver—Longtime community activist John S Wren announced his new effort to create Go+Groups, neighborhood self-directed learning groups. For information about how you can help your neighborhood start a group contact Wren at (303)861-1447 or John@JohnWren.com.

“Our mission is a healthy group in every neighborhood, across Colorado for now, soon across the country, and we believe eventually around the world. The independent, self-governing, self-supporting groups will be used for educational, social activities and mutual aid.

“We are educational, not political. Like the Denver City Club, of which I’m a past president, we will inform, not reform. Our members will be encouraged to affiliate with a political party; we hope to have members from both major political parties in our groups.

“For groups to be listed in our directory, they will need to agree with our purpose, a focus on creating a Good Living in a culture of life, with recovery, life-long learning, and doing work that provide an adequate income, learning and leisure.

“My neighborhood will be the model for our new program. I’ll be taking action here and writing about it on www.JohnWren.com. Also I’ll be recruiting 3 other neighborhood leaders. That will be our model, 30 days to organize your own neighborhood, help 3 others get started.

“If we are successful we’ll have a big increase in informed participation from political newcomers in the Colorado Caucus in 2014,” said Wren.
